Classic Flow- Explore the Ashtanga Method of physical practice through Sun Salutations and standing poses. Minor focus on breath. Major focus on body movement. All levels welcome. Workout can be tailored from unable to bend past knees to handstand doers. “Ashtanga-ish”
Twerk Tuesdays- Exploring pelvic tilt in the postures with a lot of butt shaking. Twerk music in the background. Super rajas. Very invigorating. High energy. Don’t come to this class to relax. Lots of rap music. “Hatha-ish”
Resto Yoself- Lots of props. Lots of support. Lots of relaxing. Light music. Lots of guided meditation. Not a lot of sweating. Not a lot of body flexibility. Lots of mental patience. Don’t come if you hate sitting still. Come if you’re working on not hating sitting still. Great for people with office jobs they hate. “Yin-ish”
Alignment Basics- All levels welcome. Tailor the workout to your own needs. Beginners super welcome! Advanced practitioners that “don’t need it” are challenged to come- it may be your hardest yoga class. “Iyengar-ish”
Breath Baby Breath- Focus is breathwork or “pranayama”. Theres like a bagillion ways to breath. We will work through a couple different techniques in class each time. Always varied. Always useful. “Kundalini-ish”
